Whole house makeover with Suburban Blinds
We outfitted our entire new construction home — 22 windows — with Suburban Blinds. Mix of blackout for bedrooms, light filtering for common areas, and an outdoor shade for the patio. The Matter Hub ties them all together beautifully. Best home investment we made.
Elegant blackout for the master suite

Dual shade combo let us customize perfectly
We chose a blackout Classic layer and a Sheer light filtering layer for our dual shade combo. Having the ability to mix fabrics was amazing. The result is exactly what we wanted — total flexibility in one sleek package.
Cellular light filtering is energy efficient

Zebra Gabriel is elegant
The Gabriel zebra shade has a more refined pattern than the Gentle, and I prefer the look. The 95% blackout is more than enough for our office. Only minor note is that the narrow bands show fingerprints more easily, so I try not to touch the fabric directly.
Roman Linen adds so much character
The linen texture on the Roman shade is beautiful. It gives our reading nook a cozy, collected feel. The motorized lift stacks the folds evenly every time. Taking off one star only because I think the price could be a touch lower for the Roman style.
The remote is simple and effective
I bought the handheld remote for my parents who are not comfortable with apps. They love it. One button up, one button down, one for their favorite position. Simple, reliable, and the battery lasts forever.
No-drill light filtering for our nursery
We did not want to drill into our rental walls, and we wanted soft light for the nursery during nap time. The no-drill light filtering shade was the perfect solution. Baby sleeps great, the room has a warm glow, and our landlord has nothing to complain about.
Outdoor shade survived a storm
We had a thunderstorm with 30+ mph winds and I forgot to raise the outdoor shade. It held up perfectly — no damage, no issues. The fabric is clearly built for the elements. Very impressed with the durability.
Alexa integration works flawlessly
I was skeptical about the smart home integration but it works perfectly with Alexa. I say 'Alexa, close the bedroom shades' and they close within two seconds. I have also set up routines for morning and evening. Could not be happier.
Worth every penny for the dual shade
Yes, the dual shade costs more, but having two layers in one headrail saves space and gives us so much flexibility. We use the blackout layer at night and the light filter during the day. Controlling both from our phones is incredibly convenient.
Ordered swatches first and glad I did

Beautiful Roman shades with one small note
The Roman Classic shades are absolutely gorgeous. The folds stack evenly and the fabric quality is top notch. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the battery drains a bit faster than the roller shades, probably because the motor works harder to lift the heavier fabric. Still very happy.
Solid product, wish there were more colors
The light filtering shades look great and the motor is impressively quiet. I went with Ivory and it matches our decor well. My only suggestion would be to add a few more color options — maybe a sage green or dusty blue. Otherwise, excellent quality.
Solar panel is a must-buy
I bought the solar panel as an add-on and it has been the best $36 I have spent. My bedroom shade gets enough indirect sunlight through the glass to stay fully charged year-round. I have not plugged in the USB-C once since installing the panel.
Great shades, minor app issue
The shades themselves are fantastic — true blackout and the motor is very quiet. I had a small hiccup pairing them with the app on my first try, but customer support walked me through it over chat in about ten minutes. Everything has worked flawlessly since.
Love the sheer option
The Sheer light filtering shade is perfect for our kitchen. It lets in tons of natural light while cutting the glare on our countertops. I wish the motor was just a touch quieter, but it is still much better than any other motorized shade I have tried.
Customer support is outstanding
I measured one window slightly wrong and the shade was about half an inch too narrow. Suburban Blinds customer support was incredibly helpful — they sent a replacement at a discounted rate and it arrived in under two weeks. That kind of service keeps me coming back.
Good shade but shipping took longer than expected
The shade itself is well-made and looks great. My only complaint is that shipping took about three weeks when the site said two. I understand they are custom-made, but better communication about the delay would have been appreciated. The product itself is a 5.
Linen texture is gorgeous in person
The photos do not do the Linen blackout shades justice. The texture is subtle but adds so much warmth to our living room. We ordered six of them for the whole first floor and every single one fits perfectly. The motorized operation is smooth and nearly silent.
Nice product but installation instructions could be clearer
The shade quality is excellent and it looks beautiful in our guest room. However, the printed installation instructions that came in the box were a bit confusing. I ended up watching the YouTube video on their site which was much better. Consider improving the paper guide.
No-drill was a game changer for our apartment

Zebra shades are my new favorite thing
I was not sure about the zebra style at first, but they are stunning in our dining room. Being able to shift between full privacy and soft filtered light without raising or lowering the shade is brilliant. The Gentle fabric is beautiful.
